Page Library uses the Library of Congress (LC) classification system to organize books by specific subjects. The LC system uses letters and numbers to do this.
To browse the library's holdings for materials on a specific criminal justice topic, search for materials in the sub-section HV and K in the General Stacks area (downstairs). The area where the criminal justice materials may be found in the library varies according to the main focal point of the criminal justice materials. If the focus is on the social aspect of criminal justice, the books will be found in the HV area. If the focus is more on legal aspects, the books will be found in the K area.
Remember--do not overlook government documents; they are a good source of updated laws and other information about criminal justice topics.
