These selected databases will be good points to jump start your research into the biological sciences.  When using them make sure to utilize the search filter to narrow down your results.

Clinicaltrials

ClinicalTrials.gov is a registry and results database of federally and privately supported clinical trials conducted in the United States and around the world. ClinicalTrials.gov gives you information about a trial's purpose, who may participate, locations, and phone numbers for more details.

MEDLINEplus

MedlinePlus pages contain carefully selected links to Web resources with health information on over 900 topics. 

Nature

Nature is the world's most highly cited interdisciplinary science journal, according to the 2010 Journal Citation Reports Science Edition (Thomson Reuters, 2011).

PubMed

PubMed comprises more than 21 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include links to full-text content from PubMed Central and publisher web sites.

Founded in 1880 on $10,000 of seed money from the American inventor Thomas Edison, Science has grown to become the world's leading outlet for scientific news, commentary, and cutting-edge research, with the largest paid circulation of any peer-reviewed general-science journal.

 

Wildlife Journals

The Journal of Wildlife Management (JWM), published since 1937, is one of the world’s leading scientific journals covering wildlife science, management and conservation.
