About This Guide

The purpose of this guide is to create a simple guide to using Inman E. Page Library's OverDrive Ebook Branch.

Read Your Ebooks Anywhere!

  • Adobe Digital Editions
Read .epub and .pdf books in the Adobe Digital Editions reader. This reader "counts down" to your book return date.
  • Kindle Apps
Read Kindle books anywhere... on any device.
  • Kindle for PC
Read .mobi ebooks using the PC kindle app.

Circulation

OverDrive's Ebooks automatically return to the system after 21 days by default. However, you can return any book at any time when you are finished with the book.

To return a Kindle Book you use your Kindle ebook manager and return it from there.

To return an .epub or .pdf you can simply click on the arrow icon on the book and choose from the drop down menu.

Finding OverDrive

OverDrive Ebooks - Available now

The Inman E. Page Library's collection of e-books is easily accessable via PC, Mac or Mobile devices. You can find our collection at:

http://lincolnuniversity.lib.overdrive.com/

Once in OverDrive you can browse the collection visually, via keyword searches or simply by clicking on subject links. Once you're ready to check out a book you can sign in with your Lincoln University username and password; the same one you use for email, moodle and accessing the BlueTiger Portal.

Note: You will need the appropriate application to read the ebook files. Kindle books require a kindle app, while adobe epub and pdf books reaquire the Adobe Reader. Links to these applications can be found on OverDrive or you can use the links provided in this libguide.
